fresh! is the latest creation by well-known Portland restauranteur Walter Loeman, the original owner of Walter's on Exchange Street in Portland. Walter opened fresh! in April of 2007 with the goal of providing a place to enjoy local fresh organic food as much as possible, without the increased price that usually accompanies organic dining.

fresh! has developed and is continuing to develop relationships with local vendors, farmers, markets, and customers to promote community relationships and support our neighborhood. We look forward to serving the community by providing the very best food choices in a casual, relaxing and welcoming environment.

Located in South Portland's historic Knightville neighborhood near such South Portland landmarks as Uncle Andy's, Smaha's Legion Square Market and South Portland City Hall, fresh! is easy to locate with plenty of parking across the street.
